It was in Istanbul, during my four years there, that I first encountered the world of leathercraft and leather tanning—a discovery that shifted my focus entirely. Transitioning from shirts to leather goods, I dedicated six months to meticulously designing and developing prototypes of minimalist briefcases, laptop sleeves, and wallets. I personally tested each prototype, carrying them daily to assess their comfort, functionality, and durability. The response was immediate and overwhelming—my very first portfolio briefcase was sold before I could even complete the pitch.
